Eligibility – NTA UGC NET JRF June 2025 Exam
 Eligibility Criteria |  Details |

| General / Unreserved / EWS | Master’s Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in relevant subjects (e.g., Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science, Electronic Science) from UGC-recognized universities / institutions. |
| OBC (NCL) / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender | Master’s Degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks (without rounding off). |
| Final Year Students | Those pursuing or awaiting final year Master’s results may apply provisionally, but must obtain the required marks within 2 years of NET result (or 1 year if qualifying for PhD only). |
| 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree Holders | Minimum 75% marks (or equivalent grade). 5% relaxation for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / PwD / EWS. Eligible only for JRF and PhD admission (not Assistant Professor). |
